Two Killed And One Injured In Firing In Tarn Taran Of Punjab


In Tarn Taran’s Kasba Patti, two youths were killed and one is in critical condition when two groups opened fire. The injured were admitted to a private hospital in Amritsar. Police of Thana City Patti reached the spot and started investigation. Police have started investigation by registering a case against unknown accused.

There was a dispute between two groups in the late evening near Sarhali Chungi outside the Kasba Patti. Within no time the dispute escalated so much that the youths present there took out their pistols and started firing. During this three people were shot. The injured were rushed to Sandhu Hospital.

Two bullets each hit the face and stomach

After the incident, three people were taken to Sandhu Hospital in Patti. The doctors declared two dead and referred the third to Amritsar. The deceased were identified as Jagdeep Singh Manna (28) resident of Patti and Anmol Singh (26) resident of Burj Raike.

Patti resident Gursewak Singh is injured due to bullet injury. The doctor of Sandhu Hospital told that Jagdeep has been shot in the mouth and chest. Two bullets hit Anmol’s chest. Due to this both died on the spot. The third accomplice has a bullet in the stomach.

The area was hit by bullets, there was a stir

The firing between two groups in Patti caused a stir in the entire area. Some people were seen running during this time. After the information, the police also reached the spot and investigated the surroundings but people did not tell anything due to the fear of miscreants. After some time the relatives of the deceased also reached Sandhu Hospital.

After the police action, the bodies were sent to the government hospital. Forensic team investigated the spot and CCTV footage of the surrounding is also being scanned. DSP Kuljinder Singh said that there was a fight between the two groups over some issue and shots were fired. Two youths have died, another is injured. By registering a case against unknown accused in the police station Patti City, the surrounding CCTV footage is being checked. Soon the accused will be caught.
