Most of the trains are late, passengers upset
For the past few days, along with the fall in the temperature, the fog falling during the night has shown an effect on the speed of the trains. Most of the trains are running late by several hours due to increasing fog and reduced visibility. Trains plying on Delhi, Amritsar and Jammu rail routes were affected on Wednesday due to poor visibility and reached Ludhiana with a delay of several hours, causing inconvenience to commuters. The biggest problem was faced by those passengers who had already booked their tickets. While waiting for the trains, the passengers kept visiting the inquiry center again and again to inquire about the situation, due to which the staff sitting inside also looked upset. At the same time, there was an improvement in the timetable of trains till late evening, after which the passengers felt some relief.
